Terms of service
Last updated 23 August 2026
What you are buying
A licence to use BotBuddy on the number of websites your plan allows. The licence is yours for as long as the service runs; it is not a transfer of ownership and it is not resale rights unless you bought the Agency plan.
Your plan sets limits on agents, pages crawled and messages per month. Going over a limit does not incur a charge — the affected feature simply stops until the next month or until you upgrade.
What you are responsible for
That you have the right to let us crawl the website you point an agent at, and that its content is lawful.
What your agent says. It answers from your own website and from what you type into it, so its accuracy is a function of yours. Review the answers it gives before relying on them for anything that matters — a price, a legal term, a medical or financial claim.
Keeping your login safe. Anyone with it can read every conversation your visitors have had.
What we do not allow
Pointing an agent at a website you do not own or have permission to index. Using the service to impersonate a person or business. Sending it content that is illegal where you or we operate.
Attempting to extract another customer’s data, overwhelm the service, or work around plan limits programmatically.
Availability
We aim for continuous availability and do not promise it. Crawls, model providers and email delivery all depend on third parties that can fail independently of us.
We may change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what you paid for, the refund policy applies regardless of how long you have had the product.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability is capped at what you paid. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost data or indirect loss.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
